Tall Ships Regatta датира от 1956 г. В регата
участват ветроходи от цял свят, които чрез
морската надпревара подкрепят развитието на
добрите взаимоотношения и разбирателство
между младите хора от различни страни.
През 2010 г. „Пристанище Варна” ЕАД за първи
път има честта да бъде домакин на най-мащаб-
ното и престижно морско събитие посрещайки
ветроходите участващи в „Tall Ships Historical
Seas”. През 2014 г. регатата се проведе изцяло в
акваторията на Черно море – „SCF Black Sea Tall
Ships Regatta”.
Каталог фотографии „Tall Ships Regatta” включва
фотографии отличени във фото конкурс орга-
низиран от „Пристанище Варна” ЕАД с подкрепа-
та на клуб Фотоплейс по повод 108-та годишнина
на пристанището и честването на европейския
морски ден (18 май – 20 май 2014 г.).
Фотографиите представят един творчески
поглед на авторите по време на домакинството
на регатата във Варна през 2010 г. и 2014 г. Пред-
ставянето им пред широка публика се състоя в
изложба проведена през Седмицата на морето
(4 август – 15 август 2014 г.).
С организирането на конкурс и изложба „Tall Ships
Regatta” Пристанище Варна продължава тради-
цията да подкрепя развитието и популяризира-
нето на фотографското изкуство.
‘Tall Ships Regatta’ Photo Catalogue
Tall Ships Regatta dates back to 1956. Sailing vessels
from around the world participate in the Tall Ships
Regatta and promote the development of friendly
relations and fellowship among young people from
different countries through maritime races.
In 2010 the ‘Port of Varna’ EAD had for the first
time the honour of hosting and welcoming the sail-
ing vessels participating in the most large-scale and
prestigious maritime event - ‘Tall Ships Historical
Seas’. In 2014 the regatta took place within the Black
sea aquatory - ‘SCF Black Sea Tall Ships Regatta’.
‘Tall Ships Regatta’ photo catalogue comprises
shortlisted photographs from the photo contest
organized by the ‘Port of Varna’ EAD with the sup-
port of Photoplace club on the occasion of the
108th anniversary of the port and the celebration
of the European Maritime Day (18 th May to 20th May
2014).
The photographs are meant to present the crea-
tive view of the photographers while the regatta
was in port in Varna in 2010 and 2014. The photo-
graphs are to be shown to the general public in an
exhibition that is to be held during the Sea Week
(4th August to 15th August 2014).
Being the organizer of ‘Tall Ships Regatta’ contest
and exhibition, the ‘Port of Varna’ maintains the
tradition of supporting and promoting the art of
photography.
